The sensory and regulation program is tailored to help families to identify the areas where their child’s regulation requires help and support and is run by a specialist Occupational Therapist. Regulation is often impacted by attachment and trauma, and this can impede the child’s ability to heal and benefit from attachment therapy. Taking part in this programme will ensure that the family are able to learn and practice live strategies to help them to identify their child’s sensory issues. This will work on a body-based attachment programme to help them engage their child without triggering their sensory overload.
We offer sensory programs tailored to children five and under, six to ten and eleven to fourteen, as well as a parent group called Regulate to Attach and a school group called Regulate to Educate. All of our interventions are run or overseen by our specialist Occupational Therapist.
